MEET MARTY FOSTER

Golf Coach

Marty Foster has spent more than two decades competing at a high level and developing golfers of every age and ability across the Bay Area and beyond.

As a competitor, Marty was a three-time NorCal PGA North/South Cup winner (2004-2006), earned Top 10 points finishes, and reached the match play finals during those same years. He also served as player/coach of the East Bay Power in the National Golf League. His competitive edge has never dulled: at age 63, he qualified for a USGA Senior Open Local Qualifier, a testament to the same preparation and discipline he teaches his students.

Marty is a Titleist Performance Institute Level 1 certified instructor and holds a Trackman Simulator Certificate, which lets him pair sound fundamentals with modern data and technology. He has been Head Golf Pro at Pure Tempo Golf school since 2010, serves as a Golf Pro with Montclair Golf Enterprises, and founded Pinnacle Golf Guidance in 2013, where he provides personalized instruction.

His coaching record speaks for itself. Marty coached US Kids Golf standout Taylor Moya from ages 6 to 10, guiding Taylor to a 37th-place finish at the World Championship. Taylor went on to win the 2025 NB3 West Coast Invitational, finish second at the NB3 National Championship, and place 15th at the 2026 IMG World Junior Championship.

Giving back to the game is central to Marty's work. He has been a First Tee mentor since 2006, taught for US Girls Golf from 2005 to 2010, and instructs with Youth on Course, helping introduce the next generation to golf.

Whether you're picking up a club for the first time or chasing a championship, Marty brings the experience, credentials, and patience to help you play your best.
